Complex product information
Tyres differ across dimensions, fitment, performance characteristics and commercial positioning, creating a large amount of information for sales teams to navigate.
Turning a complex B2B product catalogue into a practical mobile sales tool for field teams visiting independent garages.
Project overview
An international tyre manufacturer needed a better way for field sales representatives to present products and support sales conversations while visiting independent garages.
The existing process relied heavily on product knowledge, printed information and fragmented digital resources, making it harder to move quickly from a customer conversation to the right product recommendation.
Jublo designed and built a mobile sales application that brings product information, fitment context and relevant sales information together in one place, giving representatives a practical tool they can use directly in front of customers.
The challenge
The application needed to turn a large and technically detailed product range into something fast enough to support a live sales conversation.
Tyres differ across dimensions, fitment, performance characteristics and commercial positioning, creating a large amount of information for sales teams to navigate.
The application had to work naturally during conversations with garage owners rather than requiring lengthy searches or back-office support.
Representatives needed to access relevant product information quickly from a tablet or mobile device while moving between customer sites.
Technical product differences had to be presented in a way that could support recommendations without overwhelming the user.
The business needed a more controlled way to distribute current product and commercial information across the field sales team.
The app had to reflect how representatives actually sell, not simply expose an internal product database on a smaller screen.
Our role
Jublo worked across product thinking, UX, application design, mobile engineering and backend integration.
The starting point was not simply deciding how to display product records. We looked at the questions a representative needs to answer during a customer conversation and how quickly they need to move between vehicle, product and commercial information.
That shaped the application around real sales workflows, helping representatives narrow down relevant options and communicate product information without breaking the flow of the conversation.

Our approach
Every engagement begins with understanding the organisation, the people involved and the outcome that matters. From there, we challenge assumptions, make deliberate decisions and engineer technology that can continue to evolve.
Map the real sales journey, including how representatives identify customer needs and move from discussion to product recommendation.
Organise product and fitment information around the decisions salespeople actually make rather than exposing raw catalogue structures.
Reduce unnecessary steps and surface the information most relevant to the conversation at each stage.
Connect the application with the wider product and commercial data required to keep information useful and current.
Improve the experience through practical use with field teams and real sales scenarios.

Built for field sales
Field sales applications have a different usability requirement from conventional internal systems.
A representative may be standing with a garage owner, discussing a vehicle or customer requirement while simultaneously searching for the most relevant products.
That means navigation has to be quick, information needs to be immediately understandable and the application cannot require the user to remember where information sits within a complex catalogue structure.
The experience was therefore designed around short decision paths and clear product information, allowing the technology to support the conversation rather than become the focus of it.

Product intelligence
Large product catalogues often contain far more information than a salesperson needs at any one moment.
The application structures product data around the context of the sales interaction, helping users narrow the available range and focus on the options most relevant to the customer in front of them.
This approach reduces the cognitive load on the representative while still making detailed product information available when it is needed.
The result is a tool that behaves more like a sales assistant than a digital product catalogue.
What we delivered
The finished application brings together the product, fitment and commercial information required by field representatives within a single mobile experience.

The outcome
Representatives can move from a customer requirement to relevant product options without navigating multiple disconnected resources.
Product and commercial information is brought into one controlled digital experience for field teams.
The application helps representatives keep the conversation focused on the customer rather than on finding information.
New product information, workflows and capabilities can be introduced without rebuilding the sales process around new tools.
