#BuyLeeds #ByJublo - Week 2

After the announcement today that Leeds will enter Tier 3 restrictions after the end of the national lockdown on Wednesday, we feel even more strongly about promoting some of our favourite independent businesses and encouraging people to support them. It's another blow for the hospitality sector in particular, who will have to remain closed during the run up to Christmas - their busiest time of the year.

LAYNES ESPRESSO

So, for Week 2 of the series we wanted to share some love for our neighbours on New Station Street, Laynes Espresso - coffee connoisseurs and brunch experts.

The well-known coffee shop opened in 2011, but has expanded over the last decade to include a kitchen and is now considered one of the best breakfasts the city has to offer. They sell delicious pastries, bakes and bread baked by Leeds-based Porterhouse Cake Co. which are all well worth a try.
Their cafe is the perfect lazy-weekend brunch spot (for post-lockdown) and the menu caters for everyone, with lots of yummy vegan and vegetarian options.

With less people commuting into Leeds by train and office buildings quiet, we know Laynes won't be getting their usual traffic at the moment. So we wanted to encourage you to support them - be that by online/delivery orders or, if you're local, nip in for a takeaway - you won't be disappointed. Their online shop is also operating, with a worldwide coffee offering - so you can order coffee to your door from Kenya to Costa Rica.

Jublo picks:
Our MD Joshua likes to grab a latte from Laynes on the way into work to start the day and we also highly recommend the Salted Caramel Brownies and other baked goodies they sell.
