Located in the Grand Arcade on Merrion Street, this restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem – with a lively atmosphere that will make you feel like you’re in Italy yourself. The name comes from Stuzzichini referring to small plates of northern Italian cuisine traditionally shared between drinks in small osterias and bars to “keep ones self going”. Started by 4 Englishmen with what they describe as an ‘obsession’ with the food, they are keen to maintain the authenticity of both the experience and the delicacies they serve.
They promise to serve ‘real Italian’ food – with carefully selected imported drinks, meats and cheeses, showcasing a glimpse of what’s on offer in the true Italy. And they certainly deliver! Their menu is sophisticated, yet traditional – offering their own take on the dishes you’d expect, with rich meats and a wide selection of vegetarian options. SS
