From Complex Catalogue to Sales Assistant: How Jublo Built a Mobile Tyre Sales Platform

Discover how Jublo transformed a complex tyre catalogue into a mobile sales platform, helping sales teams access product information and support customers more efficiently.

Technology is at its most useful when it makes something complicated feel simple.

For field sales teams, that can make a huge difference.

When you’re standing in front of a customer, you don’t want to be searching through multiple systems, scrolling through endless product information or relying on printed material to find the answer you need.

You need the right information, at the right moment.

That was the challenge facing an international tyre manufacturer working with independent garages; and the reason Jublo was brought in to create a better way for its field sales representatives to work.

The problem wasn’t a lack of information

The manufacturer already had a huge amount of valuable product data.

The challenge was making that information genuinely useful during a live sales conversation.

Tyres vary across dimensions, fitment, performance characteristics and commercial positioning. For a sales representative, that creates a significant amount of information to navigate.

The existing process relied heavily on product knowledge, printed information and fragmented digital resources.

So while the information existed, getting from a customer’s requirements to the right product recommendation wasn’t always straightforward.

The opportunity was to change that.

Rather than simply taking a product catalogue and putting it onto a mobile device, Jublo started somewhere different.

How do sales representatives actually sell?

A representative might be standing with a garage owner, discussing a particular vehicle, understanding the customer’s requirements and considering which products are most appropriate – all within the same conversation.

The technology needed to support that process, not interrupt it.

Jublo worked across product thinking, UX design, application design, mobile engineering and backend integration to create an experience built around those real world sales workflows.

Turning complexity into simplicity

One of the biggest challenges was deciding what information should appear, and when.

A large product catalogue can contain far more information than someone needs at any particular moment.

Instead of presenting users with everything at once, the application structures product and fitment information around the decisions a salesperson actually needs to make.

This helps representatives narrow down the available options and quickly find the products most relevant to the customer they’re speaking to.

The result is less time searching and more time selling.

Built for life on the road

This wasn’t an application designed to be used from behind a desk.

Field representatives needed to access it while visiting independent garages, often using a tablet or mobile device.

That meant the experience had to be fast, intuitive and mobile first.

Navigation needed to be simple. Product information needed to be immediately understandable. And the application needed to work naturally alongside a face to face conversation.

The technology shouldn’t become the focus.

The customer should.

More than a digital catalogue

The finished platform brings together product, fitment and commercial information within one mobile experience.

But its role is more significant than simply displaying information.

By structuring product data around the context of a sales interaction, the application effectively acts as a digital sales assistant; helping representatives identify relevant products, compare options and communicate technical information more confidently.

That makes complex product knowledge easier to use when it matters most.

Creating a platform that can evolve

The project wasn’t just about solving the immediate problem.

The application was built as a platform that can continue to evolve, allowing new product information, workflows and capabilities to be introduced over time.

That means the business isn’t tied to a static digital solution.

As its products, processes and sales requirements change, the technology can change with them.

The result

Jublo delivered a mobile sales platform designed around real customer visits rather than a traditional product catalogue.

Representatives can move more quickly from a customer’s requirements to relevant product options, access more consistent information and keep sales conversations focused on the customer.

And perhaps most importantly, the technology stays in the background.

Because the best sales technology isn’t necessarily the technology customers notice.

It’s the technology that helps the person in front of them do their job better.

The right technology starts with understanding the problem.

At Jublo, projects don’t start with a finished technical brief.

They start with understanding the people, processes and challenges behind the problem; then working out what technology can genuinely make better.

For this tyre manufacturer, that meant turning a complex product catalogue into something much more useful: A practical digital sales assistant, built for the real world.
